CHFT STUDENT HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION
Welcome to Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT). We are delighted that you are here as a Learner and hope that your time in the organisation will be part of an excellent learning experience.
The Clinical Education Team at CHFT is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of support to ensure your placement here is of an excellent standard. We abide by the Trusts core values and apply them to you as our students and future workforce. We expect that you adhere to these values and behaviours whilst on placement.
The purpose of this book is to give Learners an idea of what to expect when you come to join us for a placement or learning experience and to tell you more about us as an organisation. The terms student/learner and trainee nursing associate are used interchangeably as are educator/assessor and supervisor. All underlined terms are links to other areas - including the CHFT Intranet. The Intranet requires you to be on a CHFT computer to access it. Wherever possible we have tried to give alternatives to avoid this.
The Student Induction form must be completed by all students who attend Virtual Student Induction
