The Speech & Language Therapy Team provides assessment and treatment for adult in-patients and patients in the community with communication and/or swallowing disorders. This includes people who have such difficulties after stroke, due to Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease, or Head and Neck Cancer. We also see people with voice problems and stammers. The service operates Monday to Friday.
All our staff are registered and regulated by the ‘Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)’

We are a team of 12 therapists and 1 therapy assistant based across the above locations. We have clinical lead therapists in stroke, voice and long term conditions.
