Speech and Language Therapy Services
Speech and language therapy (SLT) provides assessment, treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication and/or eating, drinking and swallowing.
Speech and language therapists (SLTs) are one of fourteen allied health professionals (AHPs). We work directly with patients and with the patient’s families, carers and other professionals to provide patient-centred care.
