Patellar Tendinopathy
What is patella tendinopathy?
Patellar tendinopathy (or as it is commonly known as patellar tendonitis or tendinitis) is an overuse injury affecting your knee. It is the result of repeated overstress of your patella tendon beyond its coping capacity. A common name for it is Jumper’s Knee since it is common in jumping sports such as volleyball and basketball.
